An exploration of shifting patterns and adaptations to climate change from an indigenous permaculturalist perspective.

Indigenous people have an intimate knowledge of many aspects of their surroundings. Over millennia, people have learned how to grow food and to survive in a sometimes difficult environment. They know what varieties of plants to propagate, when to sow and weed, which plants are poisonous and which can be used for medicine, how to cure diseases and how to maintain their environment in a state of equilibrium. Lots of factors have disrupted this relationship in recent centuries. In this workshop we will explore lessons learned and adaptations to our uncertain future.
